Dr Deirdre McCarvill, thinkCoaching

Deirdre is a Coach and Registered Psychologist who favours the Solutions Focussed Brief Therapy approach when she coaches clients. Deirdre works extensively with young people and adults and has a particular interest in working with people who are struggling with a particular issue such as ADHD, anxiety and stress. She has considerable industrial experience having worked in the UK, USA and Ireland where her main focus was employee development. Joan Mulvihill has been highlighted as one of Irelands up and coming Entrepreneurs. She worked for BDO Simpson Xavier as a Senior Manger until she herself was made redundant in October 2008. Joan was a senior business advisor and specialist in private business supporting Irish entrepreneurs with the challenges of leadership, succession planning and change management

On being made redundant, Joan responded by setting up Starting Today, in collaboration with her colleague Cara Fallon, to help others who had been made redundant. In addition to Starting Today, Joan is also a co-founder and director in Emerge Ireland, (a private Incubation and Acceleration centre for new businesses and a resource opportunity for talented and energetic managers currently not working). She is a leading speaker and motivator in the world of Start Up Companies having addressed audiences around the country and through the media on this. Eibhlin Curley

Eibhlin Curley is Assistant Chief Executive of Dublin City Enterprise Board. She has twelve years of experience working with Irish SMEs in business development and funding. She previously worked for Enterprise Ireland in Stockholm, Edge Cities Network (EU funded project promoting international trade among seven European countries) and Fingal County Enterprise Board. She is frequently quoted in the national media on enterprise trends and issues.

A graduate from Trinity with a B.B.S. and a Master in Business Studies (D.C.U.) for a two-year research thesis. She is a graduate member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and has lectured in Marketing, E-Business and Entrepreneurship in D.I.T., the National College of Ireland, D.C.U. and carried out independent consultancy work. Jarlath Regan

Jarlath Regan is a 28 year old Irish comedian. He’s a little over six feet tall, has brown hair and brown eyes with a little black dot in the middle of each. During a period as an advertising account executive he became disillusioned and decided to try his hand at comedy. After winning a place in the final of the BBC and Channel 4 new comedy awards he began gigging around Ireland in small bars, pubs, community halls and hay barns. Jim Lyng

Jim Lyng is a senior counselling psychologist working in the area of adult mental health with nearly ten years experience as a therapist and educator. Dr. Corina Grace

Corina is Managing Director of Grace Consulting and a practice Director with Waverley Learning (UK) where she co-facilitates their highly successful “Crossroads and Executive Retreat” programmes.

Formerly a senior consultant psychologist with SHL, Corina brings over 15 years experiences as a senior HR change management consultant with line management experience. She has a proven track record in designing and implementing major restructuring and organisational change programmes and has advised and consulted with senior managers on the leadership and management of change, HR development processes, performance enhancement and the recruitment, retention and development of high potentials. She has extensive experience in the field of coaching both at a group and individual level and has designed coaching programmes for senior managers to help support them in realising the potential of their people.

Corina completed her Bachelors and her Masters in Organisational Psychology in UCD where she won a postgraduate scholarship. She was subsequently awarded a scholarship from BNFL & Queens University to complete her PhD where she researched ‘Work Place Stress and the Management of Peak Performance in a Nuclear Environment’. She has a Diploma in Statistics from Trinity College and a Diploma in Executive Coaching from the IMI. Mark is a Director in the Management Consulting practice and leads our Human Capital Advisory Division which includes Talent Management and Leadership Development and Executive Selection. He has a BA in HRM and Accountancy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Training and Development and a Certificate in Workplace Psychology. Mark is currently completing his advanced diploma in coaching and facilitation. He is a Lominger certified Leadership Architect (competency design). He is also a certified EQI practitioner. Dr Lorraine Boran, Neurosynergy Games Director, and Scientific Officer

Dr Lorraine Boran holds a PhD in cognitive neuroscience from the School of Psychology, TCD; her research areas include rehabilitation and cognitive psychology. She is currently a lecturer in psychology and director of the BA programme in Psychology in Waterford IT and also lectures in statistics and research methods in Trinity College Dublin. She previously lectured in Cognitive Psychology in University College Dublin.

Neurosynergy Games Ltd was founded by Dr David Delany and Dr Lorraine Boran in early 2009 to commercialise IQ-EQ software - a new type of brain training software scientifically designed to improve both cognitive and emotional functioning. IQ-EQ software is the first brain trainer potentially capable of addressing both the core deficits and specific symptoms of common mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia.
